In an ABC New's Nightline segment, they mentioned the Oppressed Nations
Organization showing its website with a flag. The website and news segment
indicates that it represents the various nations being oppressed under Iranian
rule: Southern Azerbaijan (Turkish), Alahwaz/Arabistan/Khuzestan(Arab), Western
Balochistan, Turkmenistan, Kurdistan (Eastern). I am not sure how well this
group represents their population as Unrepresented Nations and Peoples
Organization seems to have some of these areas as member: Ahwazi, Iranian
Kurdistan, Southern Azerbaijan, West Balochistan.
It flag is dark blue with five yellow stars in an arch above the Letters ONO
with dots between them.
